A senior member of staff involved in the assessment of KS3 pupils’ language or literacy skills will complete a 3-minute online survey of the reading assessment practices their school employs.
This knowledge will allow us to provide targeted information enabling schools to use more effectively the reading assessment data they already collect. It will also help inform a larger language assessment project by CAER that aims to develop a complementary battery of language tests that will identify the source of difficulties experienced by poor readers.
