I was born, educated and work in Bradford. I joined the Army after leaving school at 15, and have worked in the textile industry before taking over my wife’s role as full time Foster carer. Which we have just retired from after 30 years. In 2004 my wife made the decision to find me a proper job as I was clearly having too much fun. We identified Occupational Therapy (OT) as a good match for my life skills. I then enrolled at Bradford University and embarked on my Occupational Therapy adventure and continue to have fun and enjoy my role. Recently I have worked with a talented group of people to bring FUNMOVES from the school setting into the hospital clinical setting. Improving our service, reducing patient waiting time and patient experience.
