Dr Beng Huat See is a Research Associate in the School of Education at Durham University. Previously she was a researcher at the University of Birmingham, where she was involved in a wide range of research from character education, the development of critical thinking skills, to systematic reviews and rigorous evaluations of programmes. Her research interests stem from her desire to help children of all ages, gender, abilities and ethnicity to enjoy school and to achieve their full potential. The Nuffield Foundation is an endowed charitable trust that aims to improve social well-being in the widest sense. It funds research and innovation in education and social policy and also works to build capacity in education, science and social science research.
