Paula Clarke is an Associate Professor in Psychological Approaches to Childhood and Inclusive Education in the School of Education at the University of Leeds, and leads the MA Special Educational Needs programme. She completed her PhD in Psychology in 2005 and has since worked on projects seeking to link psychological theory and research methods, with educational practice and policy. Her work spans areas of language, literacy and cognition and informs the development of assessments, interventions and continued professional development training.

Fun fact about Paula

As a child, in the 1990s, Paula appeared on a BBC children’s game show called Eyespy and won a deluxe scrabble set.
