Faisal is a cognitive neuroscientist whose research examines interactions between action and cognition in learning and decision-making using EEG and behavioural methods including virtual and augmented reality. He has been involved in research in Bradford over a decade, first in supporting the development of cognitive and sensorimotor assessments of the Born in Bradford children and now as Co-Lead of the Digital Makers programme. He is also leading on a new programme of research collecting data on neural activity of children in Bradford, where he is linking EEG signals with health and educational outcomes.
Faisal is a Bradfordian- he grew up in West Bowling and attended schools in Wyke and Tong!
