Diane is working part time with the district Neurodevelopment Assessment Teams, this is specifically with health services to improve the pathway for children and young people who require a neuro development assessment. Diane’s background is as a clinical nurse and midwife and latterly as General Manager for Women’s and Children’s acute services at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Diane works with the clinical teams to improve the clinical assessment pathway by implementing different ways of working and has recently co-ordinated a partnership with external providers to increase capacity and reduce waiting times for children and young people for their neurodevelopment assessment, this has been positively received by many families with the feedback being positive. Diane contributes to the Data 1 project focused on improving the whole neurodiversity pathway in partnership with families, communities and professionals.
